The Gospel of grace deals principally with an expectation by the believer of things to satisfy the uncooked, unpounded, unchiselled, unmoulded individual to further restrict him/her from the knowledge of the recreative power of the Almighty God.
From the point of viewing the goal of the gospel –of – grace and the omnipotence of the head of the doctrine; the desire to “GET FROM AND GET AWAY'' becomes the first and most Propelling desire of the enquirer. From the point of admission, the bidder must have rehearsed into the enquirer of GOD'S KINGDOM some enticing words of appeal such as: “come to Jesus and He will bless you”.
The blessing above to the enquirer is nothing more than material additions. The enquirer is brought in. The mind has been informed of the purpose of coming to Christ – blessing. He joins the rat – race of searching for the material benefit regardless of his spiritual uncultured nature.
The LORD on one hand is waiting to receive the enquirer to Himself for his total LIFE REDIRECTION Mark 3:14. On the other hand, the enquirer is putting his demand on God for the said material addition. The word of God has it that; And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles, Mark 2: 22. Forces of darkness are close by to drum negative thoughts into the enquirer's mind such as; if this God hears and answers prayer would by now release to you what you requested from HIM. It is no use to continue to talk to “a god” who is not interested in giving quick response to prayer. He comes to a cross road to continue or withdraw before he regrets his life. This is the level where many believers in Christ start and remain. They just exist merely because of the mercy of God that releases some of the benefits of the kingdom sparsely to keep him on till the scale falls out of the eye to understand the foremost of God's call to entire salvation; Matthew 5: 45 – For HE maketh the sun to rise on the evil and on the good; and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Being – born again is largely believed as salvation. But the LORD said being born again simply enables one behold what exist in God's Kingdom like a window shopper. To go for window shopping means to visit a shop to look and enjoy with the EYES the content of that shop. None of the features or contents of the shop go home with the window shopper. John 3:3 – Verily, verily, I say unto thee except a man be born – again he cannot SEE the Kingdom of God. But the bible speaks of things that accompany salvation Hebrews 6:9 – But beloved; we are persuaded better things of you; and things that accompany salvation… If being born – again enables the inquirer or believer to window- shop God's Kingdom; it then means that this believer will remain a pauper all his life with no spiritual livelihood. But we know who would fuel a life that remains in this valley of window – shopping all his life – time. Ephesians 4: 18 – Having the understanding darkened, being alienated (estranged) from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Hebrews 6: 1-9, Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. 2Corinthians 4: 4, 6. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
